Todos tenemos la oportunidad de exaltar nuestras tradiciones y cultura, ya sea dentro o fuera de
nuestro país, comunidad o pueblo. Estados Unidos es un país compuesto por personas de todas partes del mundo. Siendo un país multicultural, es importante reconocer y aprender acerca de la cultura y tradiciones de sus integrantes. Estar informados sobre estos aspectos, promueve la empatía, la tolerancia y el respeto entre sus habitantes. Apreciar aspectos relacionados a la gastronomía, el idioma, la música, las danzas, tradiciones, hábitos, leyes, creencias, literatura, arte, vestimenta, entre otras, enriquecen aún más el territorio geográfico que, ahora, se comparte.
Fue y es una Alegría (16x20 Acrílico en Canvas) poder participar de la celebración del mes de la #HerenciaHispana, exhibiendo mi arte, piezas de vestir típicas de la region Antioqueña y otras piezas de artesanía Colombianas como; la hamaca y el sombrero vueltiao. Seeing Our Differences We Know We Look Alike
We all have the opportunity to exalt our traditions and culture, whether inside or outside
our country, community or town. United State is a country made up of people from all over the world. Being a multicultural country, it is important to recognize and learn about the cultural and traditions of its members. Being informed about these aspects promotes empathy, tolerance and respect among its inhabitants. Appreciating aspects related to gastronomy, language, music, dances, traditions, habits, laws, beliefs, literature, art, clothing, among others, further enrich the geographical territory that is now shared.
It was and is a Joy- Alegría (16x20 Acrylic on Canvas) to be able to participate in the celebration of the month of the Hispanic Heritage, exhibiting my art, typical pieces of clothing of the Antioquia region and other cultural pieces of Colombian like; the hammock and the turned hat .
